A love for music wasn’t enough. Spending his childhood mastering funk and soul in a small, Hawaiian, surf town, his father and mentor would often ask, “Why you Ron? Why do you have talent?” Foreseeing his potential as a musician, Ron was taught that he could only go as far as his reason would take him. And so after much searching, he found his reason outside the bounds of recognition, money and record deals. Transforming the way music-business and family life exist, Ron Artis II and his wife started touring the world. With kids in one arm and guitar in the other, the stage has become more than a spotlight to be a musician, but a calling to be a messenger. Hoping to make a small difference in the world this journey and film asks, “What is YOUR reason?"
